It’s time to rally up your mates and make a SPLASH for charity.
Variety Children’s Charity has once again teamed up with Gold Coast City Marina to bring you the Gold Coast Splash. There’s sure to be skulduggery and pirating on the high seas, with plenty of other fun activities to stockpile a sack full of treasure for children in need.
The annual event offers a great boating experience, jam-packed with fantastic parties and fun activities which are sure to entertain the whole family.
Setting out from Gold Coast City Marina in Coomera, the fleet of houseboats, jet skis and cruisers will embark on a journey to a secret location where they’ll dock overnight. There, it’ll be time to put on your dancing shoes and don your favourite Hawaiian t-shirt for a ‘beach’ themed party, complete with a live band and BBQ dinner (that’s if you’re still hungry after the plethora of prawns and fresh mud crabs on sale throughout the journey).
The fun doesn’t stop there. The next morning, Variety Volunteers will be cooking up a hearty breakfast to kick-start your day. After, there will be a presentation jam packed with fun awards for best themed boat, best dressed crew and heaps more!
As Variety Children’s Charity put it, “this is one boat you won’t want to miss because not every child’s life is smooth sailing.”
